About Leagues Cup 2023

July 21 to August 19, 2023

Leagues Cup 2023 will be an official competition of the Concacaf Champions League (CCL), granting automatic qualification to the CCL Round of 16 to the tournament champion. Clubs finishing in second and third place in Leagues Cup will qualify for the CCL Opening Round.

Leagues Cup, together with Campeones Cup, is part of a larger partnership between the two most important soccer leagues in North America, MLS and Liga MX. Launched in 2018, this partnership is rooted not only in the on-field rivalry, designed to strengthen the sport in the region, but by a true spirit of collaboration, with a focus on sharing best practices and being a force for positive change in the local communities of both leagues.
