Updated 2020 Ticket Policies

FC Cincinnati announce amended ticketing policies for the suspended season

With much uncertainty around the current 2020 MLS season, below are some updates regarding 2020 ticket purchases.

As we get further clarity regarding the postponement of matches, potential cancellations or possibly playing matches without fans in attendance, we will continue to communicate updated policies to our ticket buyers and fans.

To summarize the below updated polices: if a 2020 FCC match originally scheduled at Nippert Stadium is officially canceled – or will be played without spectators – we will automatically apply any 2020 payments made as a credit to your 2021 account balance, PLUS we will also apply an additional 10% Appreciation Credit to your account. The Appreciation Credit will be based on the total 2020 ticket payment for matches affected that is transferred to 2021. You do not need to do anything to have 2020 payments plus a 10% Appreciation Credit applied to your 2021 account balance.

If you would like a refund for any 2020 FCC match originally scheduled at Nippert Stadium that is officially canceled, postponed with no rescheduled date after eight (8) weeks from the original 2020 match date, or will be played without spectators, please contact us and we will provide you a refund for the value of the tickets to the canceled matches or matches played without spectators within 10 business days.

Option 1: Take No Action
 

Rollover payments to 2021

All fans who have purchased any ticket product for the 2020 season – including those with season tickets, multi-game plans, group purchase and single-match tickets – will have their payments for 2020 tickets affected by schedule adjustments automatically rolled over to their 2021 accounts. Ticket buyers do not need to take any action to automatically receive the rollover credit to 2021. A credit equal to value of the tickets to the matches affected will automatically be applied to buyers’ FCC account and will then be carried forward for 2021 FC Cincinnati ticket purchases.

The rollover credit will be equal to the value of the tickets affected by match cancellations or other changes that would affect a ticket holder’s ability to use their tickets (example: matches played with no fans in the stands).
 

10% Appreciation Credit

Ticket buyers who keep their 2020 payments rolled into their 2021 account will automatically receive an additional 10% Appreciation Credit on top of the ticket value being credited to their 2021 account. The full value of the Appreciation Credit can be applied to 2021 ticket purchases, including season ticket memberships or other FCC ticketing options at West End Stadium. You do not need to take any action to receive the 10% Appreciation Credit.

Additional details regarding the Appreciation Credit redemption will be communicated at a later date.
 

Option 2: Request a Refund

You may request a refund for the value of the 2020 tickets to any matches affected by the conditions listed below. Please click the “Season Ticket Refund Request” link below to submit your request, or call the FC Cincinnati Sales and Service Staff at 513-977-5425.
 

Refunds are available if:

1.Matches are cancelled

2.Matches are to be played with no fans in attendance

3.Matches are postponed with no rescheduled date after eight (8) weeks from the original 2020 date

Ticket exchanges to Rescheduled Matches

For any 2020 home matches that are rescheduled within eight (8) weeks of the original 2020 match date, fans can exchange tickets to other 2020 home matches if there is a personal conflict with the newly rescheduled match. The FCC Sales and Service Team will work with these affected fans to transfer their tickets to a match that fits their schedule.

Fans with tickets obtained through SeatGeek, the official ticketing partner of FC Cincinnati, should reach out to the SeatGeek Customer Experience team for any questions at 888-601-4802 or fccincinnati@seatgeek.com.

FC Cincinnati cannot credit, exchange or refund any tickets purchased from a non-SeatGeek secondary market reseller. Fans holding tickets that were purchased through a secondary ticket reseller must consult with their point of purchase.
