Albadawi

Nazmi Albadawi’s fine performance for North Carolina FC headlined the weekend for FC Cincinnati players on loan in the USL Championship.

Club: North Carolina FC


Result: 5-0 win against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC


The Palestine international had a game-high five chances created in North Carolina FC’s biggest win of the 2019 season.


Albadawi had an assist to Robert Kristo in the 74th minute when he cut the ball back to his teammate for the final goal of the match.

Albadawi finished his outing with a 91% passing accuracy as Carolina picked apart a Pittsburgh side that was reduced to 10 men following a red card in the 44th minute.


Forrest Lasso


Position: Defender
Club: Nashville SC


Result: 3-1 win at Charlotte Independence


Saturday night marked another win for Lasso and Nashville SC, a club that’s been unbeaten since the 2018 USL Defender of the Year arrived on loan.


Lasso finished with 37 passes, an 82% passing accuracy and five clearances. He also won an aerial duel for Nashville, who are currently the hottest team in the USL Championship’s Eastern Conference with a 5-0-1 record in their last six matches.


Nashville is in third place with 45 points, which is one behind the Tampa Bay Rowdies and two behind New York Red Bulls II.


Hassan Ndam

Club: Charlotte Independence


Result: 3-1 loss against Nashville SC


The Cameroonian center back spent the week in Cincinnati away from the Charlotte Independence, where he is still on loan.


Ben Lundt
Postion: Goalkeeper


Club: Louisville City FC


Result: 2-1 win at Charleston Battery


Lundt didn’t feature in Louisville City FC’s road win and he spent Saturday night attending FC Cincinnati’s 4-1 loss to New York City FC.
