The 2-0 loss to the LA Galaxy was broadcasted in Latin America (South America, Central America, the Caribbean), Brazil, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, pan-Southeast Asia, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium, sub-Saharan Africa, the Balkans, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czechia, Slovakia, Israel, Portugal, the Netherlands, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, France, the UK and Scandinavia.


With the Orange and Blue now playing in MLS, matches are routinely broadcasted around the planet. Seeing crowds like last Saturday’s – and the city name on the crest – could serve as the first impression for people around the world of the Queen City.


“I was just speaking with our Soccer for a Success graduates the other day and as their soccer dreams and skills grow in our program, I reminded them they have the potential to not just represent Cincinnati on a national level, but also internationally,” FCC President Jeff Berding said. “The growth and reach of our league is incredible and the fact that our Academy players and our local community players can look to be like their soccer idols in Europe and be broadcast on TV all over the world? That’s an amazing dream for a kid from Cincinnati.”
