Match Preview: Club At Indy Eleven In Indianapolis

Following three preseason friendlies in Florida against MLS competition, FC Cincinnati travels to Indianapolis on Tuesday afternoon to play a former USL-rival Indy Eleven. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. and is free to the public.

In FCC’s three previous friendlies, the team went undefeated, securing a win and two draws at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Tuesday’s match will be the team’s first game indoors this preseason.

What to expect

FC Cincinnati Head Coach Alan Koch said the club’s fourth preseason match will have similarities to the matches in Florida. Koch said he’s looking for different partnerships to stand out.

“It’s more minutes again, but also partnerships,” Koch said of Tuesday’s priorities. “We’re going to play a couple different players together and we want to see how they respond. Some of these guys in the game tomorrow haven’t played together so far this season, so it will be interesting to see who embraces those opportunities.”
