Ten goals were scored during FCC's July in five matches, including the international friendly against Espanyol. But only four goals, two of which were scored by defenders, were shortlisted for this month's honor:

The insurance goal in a 2-0 win, Danni König capped off a clinical FCC counterattack in the 84th minute against Tampa Bay Rowdies.
After hitting the woodwork earlier in the match, Forrest Lasso's headed effort from a Kenney Walker free kick to make it 2-0 against Charlotte Independence.
Unmarked and behind the backline on an Emmanuel Ledesma free kick, Paddy Barret expertly placed his header inside the back post against New York Red Bulls II for his first goal for the Orange and Blue.
Minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute, Emmanuel Ledesma punished the Espanyol defense with a blistering, curving goal that tied the match at 2-2.
