CINCINNATI, OH --- FC Cincinnati and OKC Energy FC have come to terms with FCC trading Andy Craven to Energy FC in exchange for striker Danni König.

“In this business, sometimes you have to give something up, to gain something somewhere else. We thank Andy for his contributions this season and truly wish him well with Oklahoma City,” commented Head Coach Alan Koch. “We are also very excited to add a proven USL goal-scorer to our squad. It is not very often you get presented with an opportunity to bring in a player who recently scored over 20 goals in the league. We look forward to giving Danni a fresh start in his career and also working with him to be successful within our team. He can be used in isolation up front or in tandem with one of our other attacking options.”

König is in his third season with Energy FC and has played in four matches. The Danish forward has not yet logged a goal but has taken four chances with two of those shots on target.

Last season, König scored four goals in 30 games to tie for the team-high. During his first season with Energy FC in 2016, König was a USL Most Valuable Player finalist after breaking the single-season record in goals scored with 21.

Before joining OKC Energy FC, the 6’2” talent played for Vestsjaelland during the 2013-14 season and was loaned to Brönshöj BK during that same season. In 50 appearances with Vestsjaelland, he scored eight goals and four assists.

Craven played in three games for FCC, taking one shot.
