As clubs around the world approach the dawn of a new season, it's a time-honored tradition for their supporters to speculate about what's to come. Players who will arrive and leave, formations and systems the coaches will employ, results of the matches ahead -- these are just a few of the many subjects focused on in annual off-season supporter speculations.
Another popular target of supporter supposition: the new kits the team will be dawning in the season to come.
FC Cincinnati supporters have been every bit as susceptible to jersey conjecture as their counterparts at clubs around the world. More than a few hypotheses have circulated within the fanbase since the day after the 2016 season came to a close. Speculation reached fever pitch back in November when it was announced that -- while still keeping the same home and away kits from 2016 -- a new third kit would be debuted in Year Two.
However, with the new season just weeks away, not a word about the new third kit has been revealed.
But all that will change on Saturday, March 4th.
FC Cincinnati will officially unveil the new 2017 third kit at a public watch party at the new MadTree Brewing Company for FCC's fourth preseason match of the campaign against Sacramento Republic FC!
Not only will supporters in attendance at MadTree have the opportunity to see the new third kit in person at the event -- and on the team, which will be wearing them for the first time in the friendly against Sacramento -- but they'll also have the first opportunity to pre-order the new third kit at the event. And one lucky supporter will even come away from the evening as the first in the city with the new kit of their own, as we'll be giving away one new third kit to a randomly selected winner!

Additionally, supporters will be able to gather en masse at MadTree's spacious new Oakley location to watch the club's friendly at Western Conference power Sacramento Republic FC. The newly-opened $18 million location is in a renovated World War II hangar on Madison road, and features a brewery, taproom and event center -- perfect for recreating the Bailey indoors for one of the biggest friendlies of the preseason!
