Supporter Council Members Selected

FCC_-_2017_Supporter_Council_Front_large

Back in mid-December, FC Cincinnati introduced the club's first official Supporters Council.

Though the club already held regular meetings with the various supporters groups that call the Bailey home on match days, the Supporters Council was started with a different purpose. Instead, the council would give supporters a say in how our club runs itself.

This collective of supporters' goal would be to help the FCC tackle and make decisions about important topics such as match day experience, supporter relations and club initiatives. But they would have to apply for the privilege to do so. The response from a community that's attracted national and international attention was hardly surprising.

Over 70 applications were submitted by supporters wishing to take part in the council. They came from fans who sit in every section of Nippert Stadium, a wide range of ages, different creeds and various supporters groups. After much internal consideration and debate, that list has been pared down to a final council of 14 supporters who will be joined by six seats reserved for each of the officially recognized supporters groups.

The supporters who will be representing the fanbase in club decision making for the 2017 calendar year are:

Heidi Black
Laura Deno
Robert Dobbs
Joshua Godbey
Tom Grabo
Mike Heald
Carlos Julca
Alex Kuhns
Jackie Oney
Darin Russell
Adam Sandfoss
Michael Stump
Bill Wolf
Zachary Young

On behalf of the club, congratulations to those selected, and thanks to all of the supporters who applied and showed interest in playing an active role in FC Cincinnati. This club would be nothing without the passion and motivation all of you show in the stands, in the streets and online.

Now, let's rise together.
