Orange and Blue will cap a six-game USL home stand Saturday night

CINCINNATI – Saturday night, when USL leaders FC Cincinnati host the Charleston Battery, the Orange and Blue faithful will cap a six-week, six-game league home stand at Nippert Stadium and a summer full of soccer at the historic venue.

The Battery, who come into the game tied for second place in the East and five points back of FCC, are riding a 11-game undefeated streak during which they’ve gone 6-0-5 since June 16. Not to be outdone, FCC comes in to Saturday’s game without a loss since May, claiming a club-record 12-game unbeaten run during which they’ve gone 8-0-4 since June 2.

Together the teams currently hold the USL’s longest and second-longest unbeaten runs this season.

To celebrate the end of the team’s summer home stand, FC Cincinnati fans will be treated to a fireworks celebration at Nippert Stadium following the game.

Approximately 20 minutes following the final whistle, a spectacular show will launch from the top of the Lindner Center on the east side of the stadium.

To accommodate the production safely, the following seating sections will be cleared at the end of the game:

101 through 111
201 through 215
131 through 135 (The Bailey)
If they plan to stay to watch the fireworks show, fans seated in those sections should relocate to open seats in the south end zone and west side, in sections 112 through 127.
