Major League Soccer today announced the full 2023 regular season schedule for FC Cincinnati, a slate which begins February 25 and runs through Decision Day on October 21. FC Cincy begin the season at home at TQL Stadium against Houston Dynamo FC.

The Orange and Blue will play 34 MLS regular season contests, 17 in the Queen City and 17 on the road. FC Cincinnati will face each of the other 14 Eastern Conference foes once at home and once away, including Nashville SC, who return to the Eastern Conference in the 2023 campaign. FC Cincinnati will play six Western Conference opponents: Houston Dynamo FC, Portland Timbers and Seattle Sounders FC at home, and then St. Louis CITY SC, Colorado Rapids and Vancouver Whitecaps FC on the road.

FC Cincinnati will host a home match on the opening weekend of the MLS season for the first time in club history when Houston visit the Queen City. Concacaf Champions League winners, Seattle Sounders FC, will visit Cincinnati for the first time when they play at TQL Stadium on March 11.

Three of Cincinnati’s first five home matches will be against Western Conference competition (Houston, Seattle and Portland) and a first ever meeting against expansion side St. Louis CITY SC is scheduled for April 15 at CITYPARK. The Orange and Blue will also visit Vancouver Whitecaps FC for the first time in club history on June 10.

FC Cincinnati’s schedule features one nationally televised matchup against the Columbus Crew on August 20 on FS1. All games will feature on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, the league’s new unprecedented subscription service which will feature every single MLS regular season and MLS Cup Playoff match in addition to game replays, highlights, analysis, and other original programming.

Highlights for the 2023 schedule will also include the Hell is Real Derby against the Columbus Crew at TQL Stadium on May 20 and at Lower.com Field on August 20. The Orange and Blue look for revenge against defending Eastern Conference champions Philadelphia Union on April 8 at TQL Stadium. FC Cincinnati will host Atlanta United on Decision Day at TQL Stadium.

MLS competition will pause in July and August when FC Cincinnati will take part in the inaugural edition of the Leagues Cup, pitting MLS and Liga MX clubs against each other. FC Cincinnati will host two group stage matches and will also take part in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Full fixtures for those competitions will be announced at a later date.

2023 will mark FC Cincinnati’s fifth season in MLS, and it is full of excitement for the Orange and Blue as Head Coach Pat Noonan and his squad are coming off the club’s first MLS Cup Playoff berth and first playoff win last season.
