CINCINNATI, OH --- Djiby penned his name into the FC Cincinnati record books last week after becoming the first player to score a hat-trick for the club as well as a four-goal game. The single-game performance also resulted in the forward receiving USL Player of the Week honors, the first for the club.

Djiby’s four goals propelled FCC to a win in the home opener at Nippert Stadium as the team climbed to 2-2-0 following a three-week spate of road games to open the sophomore campaign.

Djiby jumped to the top of the USL stats and has scored all six goals for FCC. He tops the league in shots with 17 and has 18 points.

Matt Bahner was voted to the USL Team of the Week after a solid defensive showing and registering an assist on what would be the game-winning goal. Bahner made five interceptions in the effort and won five of six duels.

Bahner has started in all four games for FCC.

The Orange and Blue are in the midst of their “Opening Week” and host Tampa Bay Rowdies Wed., Apr. 19 and Louisville City FC Sat., Apr. 22 with both matches slated for 7:00 p.m. starts.
