USL Loan Roundup: Aug. 24

Dally

A Rashawn Dally goal and a match between two FC Cincinnati players were the highlights of FCC players on loan this past week in the USL Championship.

Here’s a game-by-game look at how the four on-loan players fared:

Rashawn Dally

Position: Forward

Club: Las Vegas Lights FC

Result: 3-1 win, 3-3 draw

Dally started for Las Vegas in both matches this past weekend and scored the game winner against Tacoma Defiance on Aug. 19.

In the 30th minute, the striker calmly finished Yamikani Chester’s cross for his second goal in four appearances.

In the Lights’ second game, a 3-3 draw against Phoenix Rising FC, Dally played 83 minutes and produced 14 passes with 78.6% accuracy. He also finished the match with one shot.

Hassan Ndam

Position: Defender

Club: The Miami FC

Result: 2-2 draw, 2-1 win

Ndam started both matches for Miami and helped the club secure its first-ever win in the USL Championship.

In a 2-2 draw against Atlanta United 2, the Cameroonian defender completed 50 passes with an 88% passing accuracy. He also won five duels, four interceptions, a tackle and made five clearances. He also received his first booking of the season.

On Sunday night, he helped his side beat Rey Ortiz and the Charlotte Independence, 2-1. Ndam won all eight of his duels – including six aerial duels – and made a tackle and an interception.

Rey Ortiz

Position: Winger

Club: Charlotte Independence

Result: 2-1 loss at The Miami FC

Ortiz started and played 57 minutes in the loss against his fellow FCC teammate.

The winger completed 15 passes with a 68% accuracy and also produced one shot.

Ben Lundt

Position: Goalkeeper

Club: Louisville City FC

Result: 4-1 win against Sporting Kansas City II

Lundt produced a save in Lou City’s emphatic win over SKC II. The match continues Louisville’s success since the league restarted – and included two goals from former FCC player Corben Bone!
