USL Loan Roundup: Aug. 3

Hassan Ndam making his first competitive appearance of 2020 was the highlight this week for FC Cincinnati players on loan in the USL Championship.

Here’s a guide to how Ndam and two other FCC players fared for their respective clubs.

Hassan Ndam

Position: Defender

Club: Miami FC

Result: 2-1 loss at Atlanta United 2

Ndam made his 2020 competitive debut last Wednesday in Miami FC’s 2-1 loss at Atlanta United 2. The Cameroonian logged 75 minutes and produced an 84.8% passing accuracy. Defensively, he won four duels, made four interceptions, had two clearances and recorded a tackle.

That’s a promising start for Ndam, who missed the team’s season opener in March, but played in Miami’s first game since USL Championship play resumed. With their next game Friday, we’ll see if he’s now considered a started the USL newcomers moving forward.

Rashawn Dally

Position: Forward

Club: Las Vegas Lights FC

Result: 1-0 loss against Reno 1868 FC

Dally took four shots and created two attacking chances for Las Vegas in its Nevada derby loss against Reno.

Playing the full match, the forward completed 84.8% of his passes and won four duels in his first home match for the Lights.

It’s worth noting that Dally has been the starting striker for Las Vegas since play resumed this summer.

Ben Lundt

Position: Goalkeeper

Club: Louisville City FC

Result: 2-1 loss against Sporting KC II

Lundt started for Lou City in their home loss against SKC. After earning a clean sheet against SKC four days earlier, the German goalkeeper finished the rematch with one save and has now made four appearances for FCC’s southern rival.
