MLS is Back Tournament shoulder programming announced

MLS is Back Shows

CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati today announced MLS is Back Tournament scheduled programming in the form of radio and matchday shows surrounding their three group-stage matches.


The Orange and Blue broadcast tandem of Tom Gelehrter and Kevin McCloskey will host a pair of radio shows on FCC’s radio home WDJO (99.5 FM, 107.9 FM, 1480 AM).


The hour-long Tournament Preview Show will be broadcast tonight from 6-7 p.m. and a follow-up Tournament Update Show will be broadcast from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15. Both editions of the show will feature head coach Jaap Stam and additional special guests.


Following the live broadcasts on each Wednesday, the episodes will be archived on fccincinnati.com/MLSisBackShows.


In addition to the two radio shows, the Orange and Blue will have three matchday shows – two pregame shows and one postgame show – streamed on FC Cincinnati’s Twitter and Facebook channels, as well as on fccincinnati.com. The three social shows will also be hosted by Gelehrter and McCloskey.


The first pregame show will air prior to FC Cincinnati’s first group stage match against Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, July 11 at 7:30 p.m.


The following show will be a postgame show after the conclusion of FC Cincinnati’s second group stage match against Atlanta United FC on Thursday, July 16 at approximately 11:15 a.m.


The final edition of the social show will be a pregame show ahead of FCC’s third and final group stage match against the New York Red Bulls on Wednesday, July 22 at 7:30 p.m.
