CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati are back for three more days of optional individual sessions at the Mercy Health Training Center this week. In addition to the action on the pitch, the Orange and Blue have a number of scheduled content items throughout the week

Highlighting the week’s programming is yet another classic match re-airing on Star64 this Saturday: FC Cincinnati’s match against Nashville SC in the 2018 USL Cup Playoffs from Oct. 20, 2018. After the two sides remained level at one goal apiece through 120 minutes, FC Cincinnati defeated Nashville in penalties, 6-5.


That match will be televised at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 23. The special 2.5 hour match will also be streamed on fccincinnati.com within the Star64 viewing area. In addition, “The Buffalo Wings & Rings Second Screen Experience” will be streamed on Facebook simultaneously, and will feature to be announced special FCC guests.


Leading up to Saturday’s re-airing, FC Cincinnati will have other items of note throughout the week.


The club will debut “FCC Academy Live” on Wednesday evening. The new weekly digital program will feature a virtual youth training session from an FC Cincinnati Academy coach. This week, Under-15’s head coach Joshua Neff will lead the session.


Also, Frankie Amaya will be featured on the club’s Instagram account for an Instagram Live as part of the “Monday Meet-up,” Tommy McCabe will be the special guest contestant and join host Charlie Hatch and other fans for “FCC Trivia Tuesday;” and Alex Stec and Tom Gelehrter will be joined by Siem de Jong for another edition of “Braxton Brewing Virtual Zoom Happy Hour” on Friday.

Tuesday, May 19
Release of “Orange and Blue Review” Episode 6

Orange and Blue Review co-hosts Charlie Hatch and Alex Stec will share the sixth episode of FC Cincinnati’s new weekly podcast. Hatch and Stec will be joined this week by special guest goalkeeper Spencer Richey. Plus, hear perspective from additional FCC players following the club’s first full week of individual sessions. The podcast is available at fccincinnati.com, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Play and Soundcloud.


7 p.m. ET – FCC Trivia Tuesday

FC Cincinnati Digital Host & Writer Charlie Hatch will host the weekly event and will be joined by guest player and FCC midfielder Tommy McCabe, who will challenge entrants in an hour-long trivia game that will be hosted on Zoom using the Kahoot interactive trivia platform.


Wednesday, May 20
5 p.m. ET – FCC Academy Live

Under-15’s head coach Joshua Neff will lead a virtual youth training session via Zoom. Participants are encouraged to join the video call and partake in the exercises that will include drills, demonstrations, Q&As and challenges. The session will be streamed live on the FC Cincinnati and FC Cincinnati Academy Facebook pages.

Friday, May 22
5 p.m. ET – Braxton Brewing Co. Virtual Happy Hour 

FC Cincinnati’s Alex Stec and Tom Gelehrter will host the Braxton Brewing Co. Virtual Happy Hour with special guest Siem de Jong and FC Cincinnati supporters. More information will be made available later this week.


Saturday, May 23
2 p.m. ET – FCC Classics: FC Cincinnati vs. Nashville SC (Oct. 20, 2018)

Tune in for a special presentation of the 2018 USL Cup Playoffs first-round match against Nashville SC, when the Orange and Blue claimed their first-ever postseason advancement by besting the visitors in penalties, 6-5. The match will also be re-simulcast on fccincinnati.com within the WSTR Star64 viewing area.


2 p.m. ET – The Buffalo Wings & Rings Second Screen Experience live on Facebook
