About the FC Cincinnati Academy

Now in its first year of competition, the FC Cincinnati serves as the top layer of youth development in the Greater Cincinnati and Tri-State region. This year, the Academy will field Under-16/17 and Under-15 teams and will compete in both age levels in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, along with every other MLS Academy. The teams will play regional schedules against other top youth club teams – both MLS-affiliated and non-MLS affiliated in non-MLS markets – and also have the opportunity to participate in showcase events against domestic and international teams. All of the FC Cincinnati Academy players’ expenses related to soccer competition will be covered by the club, meaning players and their families will not be asked to pay any annual fees or be charged any money to play for FCC. All of the players’ needs – including equipment, uniforms, facilities and team travel to and from competitions – are paid for by the club.
