Down The Hatch – April 18

down the hatch

Welcome to “Down The Hatch,” a weekly mailbag about FC Cincinnati and their time in MLS. This is Charlie Hatch, the club’s Digital Host and Writer.

Questions can be submitted here on Twitter or by tweeting to @charliehatch_.

Here’s our eighth addition. Thank you for the questions and feel free to send more!

Steve: What is the status of Fanendo Adi? I understand he has to go thru the MLS protocol, but what is the timetable for his return?

There’s no definite timetable for Adi’s return. That said, he’s back in Cincinnati and training at the Mercy Health Training Center. Currently, he’s training off to the side with other players working on fitness.

Todd: Where is Nazmi? Is he just a victim of the depth chart?

Nazmi Albadawi has made the bench this season but it still seeking his MLS debut. At this point, it’s just working up the depth chart. Recently, Kenny Saief and Kekuta Manneh have played ahead of him.

Greg: I hear that FCC will have a U16/U17 and U18/U19 DA next year, is that true?

FC Cincinnati haven’t released any new info regarding the future academy. That will come in the near future, so any anything heard until then is just speculation!

@Jmurray8337: What is the best way to get tickets for away matches, particularly in the visitors section of the stadium with other FCC fans?

This is a great question (and one I wasn’t sure of). If you visit www.thebailey.info, you’ll find information for each away match. When more information is available, it’ll be updated on that site.

Suke Lassano: Who ate the gummy bears in my office?

Assuming you're Luke – Lizz Summers and Pa-Madou Kah. Also, Lizz promises to resupply the office.
