FCC Acquires SuperDraft Selection In Trade With Toronto FC

CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati has acquired a second-round selection (No. 30 overall) in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft and the No. 2 spot in the Allocation Ranking Order from Toronto FC in exchange for the No. 1 spot in the Allocation Ranking Order. The Orange and Blue currently possess five selections in next month’s MLS SuperDraft, including the No. 1 overall selection.


The Allocation Process is the mechanism used to determine which MLS Club has first priority to acquire a player listed on the Allocation Ranking List. The list consists Select U.S. Men’s National Team players, select elite U.S. Youth National Team players and players transferred outside of MLS garnering a transfer fee of at least $500,000 (USD).


The next time Cincinnati takes the field, it will be as MLS’ 24th team in 2019 when the club debuts in the top professional league in the U.S. and Canada. Season tickets for the 2019 season are now on sale at fccincinnati.com/tickets.
