FC Cincinnati partner with Grippo's to become the official potato chip of the Orange and Blue

FC Cincinnati and the locally-based Grippo Potato Chip Company have partnered to make Grippo’s Chips the official potato chip of FC Cincinnati, Co-CEO Jeff Berding announced today at a food tasting open to media at TQL Stadium.

“Grippo’s is a longstanding local brand,” said Vince Cicero, Senior Vice President of Partnerships and Broadcasting. “They align with our club’s mission to connect with the Cincinnati community, and we are excited to have their products in TQL Stadium.”

In addition to becoming the official potato chip of FC Cincinnati, Grippo’s potato chips will be sold throughout TQL Stadium on game day and at the Grippo’s Grab and Go Market.

“FC Cincinnati has quickly become part of the Cincinnati sports scene,” said Teri Baker, President of Grippo Potato Chip company. “Grippo’s is proud to partner with FC Cincinnati and looks forward to another great season.”

FC Cincinnati is a Major League Soccer team playing at TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio. Originally founded in 2015 by Carl H. Grippo's was founded in 1919 by Angelo Grippo in a one room office in downtown Cincinnati. Angelo started making ice cream cones and then in 1923, created the famous loop pretzel. In 1959, Grippo moved to the current location on Colerain Avenue. Grippo’s is the only family owned and operated snack food company in Cincinnati.
