Adopt A Class

FC Cincinnati Foundation invests $100,000 or more annually into the West End neighborhood through its grant program. Grant recipients must be non-profits located in and/or working on community building initiatives within the West End neighborhood. The next round of recipients has been announced, totaling $50,000 in grant contributions for the first half of 2022.

“FC Cincinnati Foundation’s grant program is an opportunity for the club to support the West End and the great work of many non-profits working within the neighborhood,” said Kate Solomon, Vice President of Community Relations and Executive Director of FC Cincinnati Foundation. “Through FC Cincinnati Foundation and our many partners including First Financial Foundation, we are proud to invest in the many non-profits supporting the neighborhood with community-building initiatives.”

The grant recipients for the first half of 2022 include:

·       Adopt a Class Foundation – to support programming at Hays Porter School;

·       Bright Star Community Church – to support their Summer Camp Enrichment program;

·       Cincinnati College & Preparatory Academy – to support the football team with new uniforms and meals;

·       Cincinnati Music & Arts Program – to support the purchase of new instruments, bus rentals, and uniforms;

·       GRAD Cincinnati – to support engagement incentives for students at Virtual High School/Cincinnati Digital Academy;

·       Junior Achievement of OKI – to support financial literacy and business & economics programs for 7th and 8th-grade students in the West End;

·       Lil Senators Football Team – to support new football uniforms;

·       My Why – to support the West End Freight Farm and West End Market;

·       One Family One Love – to support the 4th Annual Downtown (West End) Reunion Event;

·       Queen City Youth Development – to support Taft High School’s basketball program’s participation in a Florida tournament;

·       West End Reds – to support tournament participation and the end of year banquet and trophies.
