As you gaze upon the Cincinnati skyline, a truth strikes. The city, much like its people, rises to meet the sky. Both in the ground it’s constructed on, and in the creations those who call it home have built upon it.
Street by street. Neighborhood by neighborhood. Hill by hill. From the banks of the Ohio River, the city has always climbed – earning its views, character, and sense of self along the way. The 2026 Seven Hills Kit is born from that climb, honoring a city defined not by a single peak, but by the collective rise of many.
FC Cincinnati announced the 2026 Seven Hills Kit on Wednesday morning, unveiling the new alternate kit the club will wear alongside the primary Orange and Blue Legacy Kit, which premiered before the 2025 season. The kit features vertical, chevron pattern orange stripes on the front of a primarily white jersey to represent the Seven Hills themselves. FC Cincinnati will wear the Seven Hills Kit at Game One of Concacaf Champions Cup against O&M FC in the Dominican Republic, and the kit will make its hometown debut during the club's season opener on Saturday, February 21, when The Orange and Blue take on Atlanta United FC at TQL Stadium. The full kit also features orange shorts and white socks, a first-time color combination for the club. The shorts mark a return to the color for the first time since the Juncta Juvant kit (2022-23), while the white socks will feature navy blue accents, another first.

The popular origin of Cincinnati’s ‘seven hills’ stems from the 1881 book History of Cincinnati, Ohio by Henry A. Ford, A.M. and Mrs. Kate B. Ford, who reflected that the hills of Cincinnati formed naturally beautiful amphitheaters and created a “splendid panorama of the city below,” which nowhere else in the nation could rival in beauty. The official interpretation of the names of the seven hills have been debated over the years, but the sentiment remains the same – the communities that make up the city's peaks and valleys are as much part of Cincinnati as the geology they are founded on.

Designed to honor Cincinnati’s strength, unity, and enduring spirit, the kit draws inspiration from the city’s namesake, Cincinnatus, and the region's landscape, with a design that reflects the resilience that rises from the banks of the Ohio River. The combination of Roman ethos and natural geologic strength creates a visual expression of striving upward, and, like the hills that frame the skyline, the Seven Hills Kit reflects the belief that growth comes through the collective effort of the community.
Other key details of the kit include the “jock tag,” placed on the lower left of the kit, which features another tribute to the Queen City. A number 7 is created in negative space, with seven navy and white stripes that echo the Cincinnati flag. A crown sits atop this seven that reinforces the club’s connection to the city and its people.
On the nape of the kit, the rallying cry “All For Cincy” is also marked, serving as a reminder of the club’s commitment to bringing the community and club together as one.
In a city built on elevation, nothing is achieved alone. The Seven Hills Kit is a reminder that Cincinnati’s story—like that of FC Cincinnati—has always been one of ascension and the willingness to climb together. From the river to the sky, neighborhood streets to matchday nights at TQL Stadium, Cincinnati moves forward as one. Seven Hills making one community.
