FC Cincinnati announce schedule ahead of 2022 MLS Regular Season

FC Cincinnati today announced the full schedule for the upcoming 2022 MLS Regular Season, the fourth campaign for the Orange and Blue.

The schedule is highlighted by a nationally televised clash with LAFC at TQL Stadium on April 24 on FS1. Hell is Real will take center stage on July 17 when FC Cincinnati travels to Columbus to face off with the Crew on FS1.

The 2022 slate runs from the season opener at Austin FC on Saturday, Feb. 26 until a Decision Day trip to D.C. United on Sunday Oct. 9. FC Cincinnati will play 34 matches in total, 17 at TQL Stadium and 17 on the road, including a home and road match against each team in the Eastern Conference. Additionally, FC Cincinnati will play eight matches against Western Conference opposition:

  • Feb. 26 – at Austin FC
  • April 9 – at Seattle Sounders FC
  • April 24 – LAFC (FS1)
  • May 7 – at Minnesota United
  • July 13 – Vancouver Whitecaps FC
  • July 23 – Nashville SC
  • Sept 10 – San Jose Earthquakes
  • Sept. 17 – at Real Salt Lake

Other schedule highlights include:

  • Home opener at TQL Stadium – D.C. United – March 5 at 6 p.m.
  • Matchups against 2021 Audi MLS Cup Champions New York City FC, at home on June 29 and on the road at Citi Field on Sept. 7
  • Expansion side Charlotte FC will visit TQL Stadium for the first time on Sept. 3. An early season road trip to the Charlotte takes place on March 26.
  • Just four midweek matches (FC Cincinnati played eight in 2021)

Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase half-season ticket packages beginning on Monday, December 20. Half-season ticket packages start at just $170. The “Orange” pack contains nine matches, including the Hell is Real match vs. the Columbus Crew. The “Blue” pack contains eight matches, including the home opener vs. D.C. United.
