FC Cincinnati to host D.C. United in 2022 Home Opener

FC Cincinnati will kick off the club’s 17-match home schedule at TQL Stadium against D.C. United on March 5, 2022, the league announced today. FC Cincinnati also hosted D.C. United in the first home match of 2020, after the MLS is Back Tournament, playing to a 0-0 draw. Kickoff for the match is set for 6 p.m. ET from TQL Stadium.

FC Cincinnati will open the 2022 season on the road against Austin FC, following their debut season in MLS, at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, Feb 26.

FC Cincinnati is 1-1-1 in home openers in their MLS history, dating back to the Orange and Blue’s MLS debut victory over the Portland Timbers on March 17, 2019. FCC fell to Inter Miami CF 3-2 last season in the inaugural match at TQL Stadium.
