2019 – FCC’s first road win in MLS

After pummeling the Portland Timbers, 3-0, the previous week, the Orange and Blue earned a second win in as many games when they beat the New England Revolution, 2-0, at Gillette Stadium for the franchise’s first road win in its MLS history.

Kekuta Manneh opened the scoring in the 44th minute when he finished a cross from Kenny Saief.

The duo partnered for the second goal in the 65th minute. After winning a corner kick, Emmanuel Ledesma played an out-swinging ball to the back post. Manneh was on the receiving end and played a first-time ball back into the middle, where Saief was able to turn his body and score his lone goal for Cincinnati.

Here was the lineup former head coach Alan Koch deployed in the win and first road clean sheet: Spencer Richey, Mathieu Deplagne, Nick Hagglund, Greg Garza, Leo Bertone, Victor Ulloa, Roland Lamah, Kenny Saief, Kekuta Manneh and Emmanuel Ledesma. The three subs were Corben Bone, Eric Alexander and Caleb Stanko.
