On Monday, May 28, the regional pub bracket of the Microsoft-powered 2018 FC Cincinnati FIFA Tournament, held at Second Place Bar, was a great success.

Twenty-eight participants signed up to spend at least some of their Memorial Day at the third of our four regional pub brackets at the Northside establishment. After a full day of competition, the lone undefeated player remaining was Grant Ingham and his Grant's XI side!

Grant will join the champions of the other three regional pub brackets -- Peter Elliot from Bucket Heads, Michael Dellon from Rhinehaus, and the yet-to-be-decided winner from Molly Malone's in Covington -- in the semifinals, which will be played at the Microsoft Store at Kenwood Towne Center later this summer.

The semifinal winners will advance to the city-wide tournament final, where we will crown Cincinnati’s EA Sports FIFA 2018 Champion! The winner will win suite tickets and pregame field passes to a future FCC regular-season home match, and a yet-to-be-released FCC Fan Appreciation scarf.

Players still interested in competing are encouraged to register soon for the final regional bracket, which will be played at Molly Malone's in Covington on Sunday, June 17. Tournament rules and registration can be found at fccincinnati.com.
