FC Cincinnati 2 have signed defender Abdoulaye Ndoye (AB-doo-lay en-DOY), the club announced today. Ndoye will be eligible to play in FCC 2’s final two matches of the MLS NEXT Pro Regular Season. Per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Ndoye, 18, arrives in Cincinnati from his previous club of Université Club de Thiès (UC Thiès) of the National 2 Division in Senegal. At the international level, Ndoye has featured for the Senegal U17s and U18s and made his debut against the Portugal U18s in an international friendly at just 16 years old.
The Orange and Blue return to action on Sunday, September 13 against Red Bull New York II at MSU Soccer Park in Montclair, New Jersey. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET with the match airing live on OneFootball platforms and on MLSNEXTPro.com.
