On Friday night, 26,000 fans packed TQL Stadium for the most important international soccer match in the country, USA vs Mexico. Visitors from all 50 states and from many different countries flocked to our city to celebrate the world’s game and this heated rivalry. That includes Brendan Hunt, who stars as Coach Beard in the hit Apple TV+ show Ted Lasso. Even Coach Beard was in awe of the spectacle at our stadium.
This match was a crucial fixture not only in the U.S. Men’s National Team’s quest for World Cup qualification, but for Cincinnati as well.
