FC Cincinnati and Science in Sport Announce Partnership for 2021 Season
SiS named “Official Performance Nutrition Partner of FC Cincinnati”
FC Cincinnati announced today that it is partnering with Science in Sport (SiS) as the club’s Official Performance Nutrition Partner.
“I am delighted that we are working in partnership with FC Cincinnati. At Science in Sport we have the ambition to become the go-to partner for elite institutions and athletes around the world. This partnership accelerates our commitment to supporting all Pro-Soccer teams and working at the very pinnacle of professional soccer.” Sam Driver, Global Head of Sales “I am excited to see the role Science in Sport plays in the development of the team this year. We look forward to working closely with the team and introducing new, exciting innovations throughout this year to fuel the team to success."
Founded in 1992, the London based company set out to provide a range of nutritional products that help athletes perform at their best. SiS is the first and only brand to receive an evolved accreditation with Informed Sport. This three-pronged approach across the entire SiS product line, tests all raw ingredients, blind testing on final products and unannounced audits of manufacturing facilities, contributing to extremely high standards. This was something that stood out to the FC Cincinnati sporting department.
“Ensuring our players’ health and safety is a top priority for our club,” said Director of Sports Performance Gary Walker. “It is important for us to work with a company that batch-tests each and every one of their products and ensures that there is no cross-contamination with a prohibited substance within any product we provide to our players.”
