Lineup Notes: Red Bulls At Nippert

Interim Head Coach Yoann Damet made four changes to FC Cincinnati’s starting XI ahead of Saturday night’s match against the New York Red Bulls at Nippert Stadium. The matchup is the second between the clubs this season. FCC fell, 1-0, on April 27 at Red Bulls Arena.

About the starters

Fanendo Adi, Roland Lamah, Alvas Powell and Caleb Stanko replace Eric Alexander, Greg Garza, Kekuta Manneh and Darren Mattocks.

Adi returns to the starting lineup for the first time since March 17 in the home-opening win against the Portland Timbers. Lamah missed last week with a family emergency in Côte d'Ivoire, but started the May 11 win against the Montreal Impact. Powell starts hist first match since the May 1 loss at the Philadelphia Union, while Stanko starts for the first time since the draw at the San Jose Earthquakes on May 4.

Alexander and Manneh return to the bench after starting the match at Orlando City SC.
