About the starters

Fanendo Adi, Roland Lamah, Alvas Powell and Caleb Stanko replace Eric Alexander, Greg Garza, Kekuta Manneh and Darren Mattocks.


Adi returns to the starting lineup for the first time since March 17 in the home-opening win against the Portland Timbers. Lamah missed last week with a family emergency in Côte d'Ivoire, but started the May 11 win against the Montreal Impact. Powell starts his
t
first match since the May 1 loss at the Philadelphia Union, while Stanko starts for the first time since the draw at the San Jose Earthquakes on May 4.
About the bench

Rashawn Dally makes the bench for the first time in 2019 following FC Cincinnati’s recall of the forward from Memphis 901 FC on Monday afternoon.


Alexander and Manneh return to the bench after starting the match at Orlando City SC.


Jimmy Hague is back on the bench after not being named to the 18-man matchday roster for a stretch of seven games. His last appearance on the bench was the 1-1 tie with Sporting Kansas City on April 7. He’s awaiting his MLS debut.


Absences

Garza (calf), Mattocks (hip), Allan Cruz (ankle), Fatai Alashe (hamstring), Leo Bertone (hamstring), Kenny Saief (hamstring), PrzemysÅ‚aw TytoÅ„ (illness), Corben Bone (shoulder) and Jimmy McLaughlin (ACL) were unavailable for selection.


Assistant coach Pa-Modou Kah is away finishing a coaching certificate. Technical Director Luke Sassano – who was on the bench in FC Cincinnati’s match at Orlando City SC – returns to the bench for this match in Kah’s absence.
