UPDATED 3/30/2018 AT 1:30AM -- With a Week 2 away day putting our young season on temporary hiatus this past weekend, many are eagerly eyeing a return to USL action this Saturday when FC Cincinnati travels to face newcomers Indy Eleven for a 7pm  kickoff.

And from the sounds of things, it's going to be pretty lit at Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday night.

As of Friday afternoon, March 30th, over 1100 supporters have already purchased their tickets to support the Orange & Blue at Indianapolis' 2018 home opener, making it easily one of the largest groups of traveling support in the team's short history. At least one bus has been booked by supporters making the trip over en masse. And the home supporters are moving tickets too, so a lively atmosphere should be expected.

It's been confirmed that the Eleven don't intend to cut off ticket sales added additional seating should it be needed. A note to both current ticket holders and future buyers: with the surge in numbers of both home and away fans, Indy have opened up the entire lower bowl and shifted the away section. Away seats were originally in the southwest corner (Section 132) on to the southern portion of the west sideline (Sections 135-137).

So for those who have yet to purchase their tickets in the FCC away section and are still interested in doing so, follow these four easy steps from the hosts:

Away Day Details: 3/31 At Indianapolis -

1. Click here to visit the Indy Eleven away ticket portal.
2. Enter code "VISIT".
3. Purchase your desired number of tickets in the designated sections.
4. All tickets must be picked up at Will Call prior to the match as there is no mobile ticketing or print at home option. The club strongly suggests picking up your tickets as early as possible to avoid long lines prior to kickoff.

As of Friday morning, Will Call is scheduled to open at 4pm on Saturday and there will be two dedicated windows for FCC away tickets divided alphabetically A-K and L-Z under the last name of the ticket buyer.

Unsure of how to get to Will Call? We gleaned the following from their website:

Will Call windows are located on street level off of Capitol AvenueCapitol Avenue at the Southeast corner of the stadium. Tickets will be released only to the person whose name appears on the will call envelope; no one will         be issued tickets designated for another person. Valid photo identification along with the credit card used to purchase the tickets (if applicable) is required to secure Will Call tickets.

With this being the Eleven's first season and match playing at Lucas Oil Stadium, there are some tighter regulations regarding what supporters can and can't bring/do at the match. Just as would be the case at any venue, the club asks that you obey all of the hosting team's rules and regulations to ensure everyone has the most enjoyable match experience possible.

Indy kindly passed on the following regulations regarding matchday expectations:

  •  Drums are permitted for away supporters, no additional instruments or megaphones may be used inside the stadium.
  •  While flags and banners are permitted, no poles of any kind may be attached to them. Signage must not contain any commercial elements or profanity, with stadium personnel having final say on appropriateness. Signs must also not obstruct any stadium signage or present any safety hazards.
  • There will be no streamers, confetti or smoke permitted -- the use of smoke will result in immediate ejection from the stadium without refund.
  • Chants and signing should refrain from all racist, homophobic, or misogynist remarks, as well as hate speech of any kind.
  • Additional details can be found on the Visiting Teams Fans page on their website.

Supporters wishing to gather together prior to the match can find FCC supporter groups The Pride, Die Innenstadt and the Bailey Bastards meeting at Basey's in downtown Indianapolis beginning at 3pm. The local Indianapolis SG's have also opened their tailgate to visiting supporters, and you can find them by Gate 10 in the main Lucas Oil Stadium parking, where a pass will run you $11. Parking in Lot 4 will open at 4pm.
