CINCINNATI, OH – FC Cincinnati opens the season ticket renewal process today and is inviting members to renew their season tickets for the 2018 season following a successful FCC home slate, U.S. Open Cup run and a U.S. Women’s National Team international friendly. The club set a single-game record with 30,417 against New York Red Bulls II and eclipsed the previous USL season attendance mark with 477,314 in 2017. FCC also hosted 33,250 in the semifinal of the U.S. Open Cup, the largest-ever attendance for a non-final Cup match.
“Our city has answered the call time and time again. Among MLS teams, we would rank eighth in attendance, which is fantastic. To host five matches of over 30,000 people, including the women’s national team match, leaves no doubt that Cincinnati is a soccer city,” said FCC President and General Manager Jeff Berding. “We would like to thank our season ticket members for helping us build this amazing club. What we have done together has put the Queen City on soccer’s global stage and I am looking forward to what we do in 2018.”
Season ticket packages begin for as little as $99.00 with individual ticket prices ranging from $10-$35.
“We have been very open about our goal of receiving an invitation to Major League Soccer,” said Berding. “In order to position ourselves appropriately, we will institute a modest season ticket increase in the lower bowl for the first time in three years. The average ticket price increase for 2018 will be $3.00 and we will continue to maintain affordable pricing with individual tickets available for as low as $10.00.”
Mailed renewal packets will be sent out in late September which includes a renewal form and relevant information to secure season tickets. The renewal deadline for current season ticket holders will be October 31.
During the renewal process, season ticket holders who are interested in changing their seat locations or requesting additional seats, can do so through the “Seat Improvement” process. All ticket account members will have an opportunity to review open seats for either relocation or for the addition of seats to their existing accounts.
As current season ticket accounts are settled, new season deposit holders will be next in line to select their seats at Nippert Stadium. FCC is currently accepting $50 non-refundable deposits for the 2018 season which can be placed by visiting fccincinnati.com. All remaining seats will then be released for sale to the general public.
For season ticket members, FCC offers a ticket exchange program, allowing account holders to exchange tickets for additional tickets to another match on the 2018 home schedule. Ticket exchanges must occur in advance of the missed game.
Members also will have a dedicated representative from the FCC sales team to help manage their accounts, priority access to any FCC matches not on the regular-season schedule (such as international friendlies and playoffs) as well access to exclusive season ticket holder events. Benefits also include discounted per-game pricing as well as the opportunity to purchase a season parking pass that will allow access to CCM, Corry and Calhoun Garages. Allocation to the garages will be applied based upon request and priority.
