CINCINNATI, OH --- FC Cincinnati midfielder Eric Stevenson has received a release and will return to Columbus to undergo surgery on his ankle.
Stevenson was part of the team’s inaugural roster, playing in 29 games and totaling 11 points on four goals and three assists to finish fifth on the team with 11 points. He scored a goal in the team’s playoff game against Charleston Battery in 2016. This season, he saw action in one game, logging 11 minutes.
