Celebrate Equality With FCC On 6/24

2017_-_FCC_Celebrate_Equality_large

Join FC Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Human Rights Campaign this Saturday, June 24th, at Nippert Stadium as we hold our first ever Celebrate Equality Night when Saint Louis FC visit for a 7pm kickoff!

The club is teaming up with the HRC to promote equality for all and to help make Cincinnati a more inclusive and accepting community, no matter your gender, race, religion, creed, belief or lifestyle. The Human Rights Campaign is the nation’s largest LGBTQ advocacy organization with over 1.5 million members and supporters nationwide.

HRC envisions a world where LGBTQ people are ensured of their basic equal rights, and can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community. As one of their many programs, HRC rates the inclusiveness of municipalities on the Municipal Equality Index. Cincinnati scores a 100% on this ranking – a score we hope to help the city keep!  Visit the HRC’s website for more information.

Watch for changes to our social media presence and elements of our matchday experience as a part of the night’s celebrations: scoreboard and ribbon board graphics, prideful displays in The Bailey, and even rainbow corner flags down on the pitch. We’ll also be hosting members of our diverse community as guests of the club during the match against Saint Louis FC.
