CINCINNATI, OH --- With FC Cincinnati’s Monday night match against Valencia CF scheduled for July 24, FCC and Harrisburg City Islanders have agreed to move the match from Wed., July 26 to Sat., July 22 with kickoff remaining at 7:00 p.m. With the change in schedule, the game will not be televised on ESPN3 as a USL Game of the Week, but will be available on WSTR, the USL YouTube channel and simulcast on ESPN1530.
“We had requested that the USL leave July 22 open for our international friendly but unfortunately, Valencia CF was unable to play that night as they had previously scheduled a match against New York Cosmos in Canada,” said President and General Manager Jeff Berding. “When the Saturday becoming available to us and with Harrisburg having the day open as well, both sides felt it was advantageous to play on what would have been the preferred date by the clubs and the league. We thank Harrisburg City Islanders for agreeing to move our match. We hope that season ticket holders and all other ticket buyers will use their ticket on Saturday night.”
