CINCINNATI, OH --- Danni König scored twice for FC Cincinnati last week against Bethlehem Steel FC in a 2-1 decision that lifted the team to sixth in the Eastern Conference race.
The goals were the first for König since he joined FCC in a trade with OKC Energy FC earlier this month that brought the Danish striker to the Queen City.
König scored in the 18th minute on the assist from Jimmy McLaughlin to put FCC on the board and then notched the game-winning goal in the 52nd minute. The 6’2” forward had five shots on the night, including three on goal in his second game for FCC.
FCC hosts Toronto FC II this Sat., at 5:00 p.m. at Nippert Stadium.
