FCC Elf Winner Announced

On Wednesday, a mischievous elf was spotted around the FC Cincinnati offices, getting us into the Christmas spirit and spreading FCC cheer.

And that had us guessing that there had to be other elves with a preference for the Orange & Blue around town. And we asked our supporters to keep an eye out for them, and let us know if they did.

And once again, our supporters delivered.

A plethora of FCC elves were spotted on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Many dawned club colors, partook in our beverages and even saw them knocking the ball around a bit. And with so many good posts, it was hard for us to choose which was the best. So we forwarded all the posts along to Saint Nick for him to judge which elves showed the most FCC and holiday spirit.

One of those came from Jeff Thomas, who caught a trio of elves wrestling over a Die Innenstadt scarf.

Jesse Garret caught an elf with an FCC counterweight up to some death-defying stunts to steal some cookies.

The elf at Jes Bauer's house must have used some magic to shrink down an FC Cincinnati flag to elf size.

But while many elves clearly held a profound love for Orange & Blue, there was one who truly stood out. Amanda's elf not only is clearly a huge fan of USL Goalkeeper of the Year, Mitch Hildebrandt, but he also shares our supporters disdain for a certain club that lies downstream on the Ohio River.

And since Amanda's elf received the highest praise from Chris Kringle himself, that means she's now the proud new owner of a match-worn, autographed Sean Okoli! Keep an eye out for word from the club via social media, Amanda, so we can work out the details.

Thanks to everyone who risked being put on the naughty list to capture their elves in the act, and have a great Christmas from everyone at FCC!
