The month of June was a terrible month for my wife and I. She struggled with diabetes and we also lost a child. Watching our team, FC Cincinnati, was the only time during that month when we forgot all of our difficulties. We truly enjoyed those precious moments of happiness.
The team has become more to us than just a one we root for. FC Cincinnati has become family. For Father's Day my wife bought us tickets to watch the friendly against Crystal Palace. The joy and excitement of that day will live with us forever with us.
The passion we share together -- and with our new FC family -- is what we now look forward to each matchday.
