Introducing Commemorative Match Posters

Though FC Cincinnati’s first season kicks off tomorrow at 7:30pm at Charleston, we here at the club are still keeping one eye on the home opener on April 9th. The tasks to prepare for the the match are seemingly endless, but our list is steadily being whittled down.

And today, we’re pleased to check off another item on our to-do list by both revealing and kickstarting a new fan-driven endeavor.

FC Cincinnati is pleased to announce the launch of official Commemorative Digital Match Posters for each of our seventeen 2016 home matches at Nippert Stadium!

Additionally, the club would also like to officially solicit design proposals from members of the Cincinnati community for each of the remaining sixteen home dates this season! So if you or someone you know is an artist that would love an opportunity to create some memorable art to help support your local club, have them submit their designs using the instructions below.

Along with the launch of the Commemorative Digital Match Posters project, the club is also pleased to unveil the poster for our inaugural home opener, on April 9th against the Charlotte Independence. To help get the project off the ground, we had our initial poster designed by our very own Director of Communications, D.J. Switzer — you can see a portfolio of his previous work here. And just as we are with D.J., we’ll be sure to share the name and portfolio/website of the lucky artist selected for each match.

  5. The winning design will be posted on www.fccincinnati.com â€” with full credit and links to the author — the weekday following the proceeding match, as well as shared on our various social media outlets.
