Ryan Martin To Pursue New Opportunities

CINCINNATI, OH --- FC Cincinnati assistant coach Ryan Martin has decided to pursue other opportunities and will not return to the club in 2017, announced President and General Manager Jeff Berding.

“After speaking with Ryan, he has chosen to explore other opportunities in soccer,” said Berding. “We thank Ryan for the work he did in helping our club achieve success in our inaugural year and wish him all the best in the future.”

FCC finished the season third in the USL with a 16-6-8 record. The Orange and Blue hosted a league quarterfinal match at Nippert Stadium in front of 30,165 for a USL playoff attendance record and broke five USL attendance marks in 2016. FCC had 26 USL Team of the Week honorees with Sean Okoli leading the team with four such nods as well as coming away with the Golden Boot for ending the regular season as the league’s top goal scorer.
