After a grueling week on the road, FC Cincinnati returns to the friendly confines of Nippert Stadium this coming Saturday, May 14th, for a 4pm kickoff against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. And with one of the city’s biggest rivals coming to town, we’re officially dubbing the occasion an #OrangeOut. The team will be wearing limited edition orange kits and Owner & CEO Carl H. Lindner III has challenged 25,000 FCC supporters to show up and pack the Nippert stands with orange, too!
And to keep with that all orange theme, the official match poster for the game against Pittsburgh will draped in the same. This week’s winning design comes to us from Zachary Ober (@OberZM), who works for the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, and depicts the all orange crowd we hope to see in the terraces come Saturday!
If you think you have what it takes to put together a match poster for an FC Cincinnati home match this season, the club is still taking design proposals for future matches. Winning designs will not only be shared on all of the FCC’s social channels, but you’ll also win a pair of free tickets to the match for which you designed. Interested artists should visit our Match Poster page for further details and to see which matches are still available!
