FC Cincinnati 2 fell to Orlando City B 4-0 at Osceola Heritage Park on Sunday night, ending a busy week of action The match was Cincinnati’s third match over an eight-day span and the second in four days in the Sunshine State.

FC Cincinnati 2 remain 10th (3-6-3, 13 points) in the Eastern Conference while Orlando City B (7-4-2, 24 points) move up to second and trail Crown Legacy FC by just three points, as league results stand.

Orlando City B scored four first half goals as Jack Lynn got things started for the Lions, netting his seventh of the season in the 26th minute. Midfielder Juninho doubled the lead four minutes later with a free kick from 20 yards out for his first goal of the campaign.

2022 MLS SuperDraft pick Shakur Mohammed and 22-year-old Jorge Almaguer helped close out a dominant half for OCB with goals in the 37th and 44th minutes, respectively.

Salim Adams and Gerardo Valenzuela forced good saves from Orlando’s Javier Otero, but the Orange and Blue couldn’t find the back of the net on a night where they managed seven shots.

Goalkeeper Paul Walters did well to rebound from a difficult first forty-five, keeping the Lions off the scoresheet in the second half. Walters, who made his seventh appearance in goal this season, registered four saves in the loss.

FC Cincinnati 2 return to Scudamore Field at NKU Soccer Stadium on Sunday, June 18 as they square off against New England Revolution II, with kickoff set for 6 p.m. ET.
