FC Cincinnati 2 to host Youth Soccer Night at TQL Stadium on August 27

FC Cincinnati 2 are set to return to TQL Stadium on Sunday, August 27 at 6 p.m. ET against New York City FC II in the club’s second-ever match at FC Cincinnati’s home venue. The match will also play host to FC Cincinnati 2’s Youth Soccer Night and include a number of family friendly activities before, during and after the match.

Tickets for FC Cincinnati 2’s match against New York City FC II can be purchased by visiting fccincinnati.com/tickets and feature special family ticket prices, ranging from $5 to $15.

On the pitch, FC Cincinnati 2 take on Eastern Conference foes New York City FC II in their second-ever match at TQL Stadium. Last season at TQL Stadium, FC Cincinnati 2 erased a 2-0 first half deficit against in-state rival Columbus Crew 2 to earn an extra time shootout win following a thrilling 3-3 regulation time draw.

Arquimides Ordoñez led the comeback for the Orange and Blue, tying things in the 74th minute before the team’s exchanged late stoppage time penalties. In 2023, Ordoñez has proven to be one of MLS NEXT Pro’s most dangerous forward having found the back of the net seven times in just six league appearances.

FC Cincinnati 2 competes in MLS NEXT Pro, a professional men’s soccer league in the United States and Canada that completes the pro player pathway and features some of FC Cincinnati’s future stars. Gerardo Valenzuela, who signed a first team contract earlier this season, tallied two assists in last year’s match at TQL Stadium for FC Cincinnati 2 and made his MLS debut on June 21 against Toronto FC.
