About the Membership Club

By joining the Membership Club, you are helping the FC Cincinnati Foundation achieve our goal of bringing the community together to improve the lives of children through soccer. Foundation programming focuses on character development, physical and mental well-being, and community service. To help drive change and impact a positive response, soccer programming is used as a catalyst to reinforce character values and improved health. Thanks to supporters like you, we were able to impact more than 30,000 children in the Cincinnati area in 2019 and we look to grow these numbers with your support in 2020.

What the Membership Club Supports

FC Cincinnati Foundation Programing

By joining the FC Cincinnati Foundation Membership Club, you support programming reaching more than 30,000 children annually. This is accomplished through key programming including:

  • Soccer Programs
    • FC Cincinnati Foundation (FCCF) Soccer Programs reach children during the school day with gym class visits led by FCC Club Ambassador and alumni player Omar Cummings and FCCF staff. After-school programs are held in cooperation with local partners, including the Cincinnati Recreation Commission and YMCA. These programs reach more than 5,000 kids annually by introducing the game of soccer to those who may not otherwise be exposed, improving soccer skills and teaching soft skills like sportsmanship throughout the process.
  • West End Pride Soccer Program
    • The West End Pride brings SAY Soccer (recreational league) to children in Cincinnati’s West End neighborhood. The program reached more than 200 children in the 2019 year with many children playing both the spring and fall sessions. All expenses – including coaching, equipment and facilities – are provided by the FC Cincinnati Foundation, and participants have no cost to participate. In addition to practices and games, players and their families are invited to an FCC home game, an away-game watch party and an end-of-season awards celebration.
  • Mini Soccer Pitch Builds
    • At its launch, the FCCF committed to build 10 mini pitches by 2024 to help create more safe spaces for children to play soccer in the region. Two mini pitches were completed in 2019 at the Lincoln Recreation Center in the West End and Hartwell Recreation Center. Two more locations will be completed and opened in 2020.
  • Learning Is Cool
    • This honor roll incentive program was acquired from Marvin Lewis Community Fund in 2019 after more than a decade of success. The program reaches more than 27,000 children and encourages high performance in the classroom through quarterly awards for children reaching the “A Honor Roll.” Children who reach the “A Honor Roll” for at least two quarters are also invited to a celebration event at the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens, where FC Cincinnati and the coaching staff celebrate their achievements.
