Back on June 17th in the waning moments of our home match against the then-table-topping Charleston Battery, FC Cincinnati were chasing a late equalizer after falling behind 2-1. But in the 80th minute, substitute Andrew Wiedeman received a low cross in the box from Kadeem Dacres, juggled it once, headed it another time and before slicing home a back post finish to give FCC the 2-2 draw.

In the post-match presser, Wiedeman joked, "I think I've scored about ten goals in my career, so it was definitely in my top ten."

Clearly, the USL didn't disagree. Wiedeman's goal against Charleston was nominated as one of sixteen candidates from across the league this year for which fans can vote to become the 2017 USL Goal of the Year! Watch it below...

Wiedeman's crafty goal is pitted against OKC Energy's Wojceich Wojcik in the first round of USL Goal of the Year voting, and the time has come for you to cast your vote to help him advance to the next round!
