CINCINNATI, OH --- Mo Egger, the popular sports talk host of Mo Egger Show on ESPN1530, has signed on to lend his talents to the Toyota FC Cincinnati Fan Show, presented by Moerlein Lager House which begins next Wed., Mar. 22. Toyota, one of FC Cincinnati’s first partners and the Official Jersey Sponsor, returns for a second year as the title sponsor of the radio show, which airs on ESPN1530.
“It was so much fun to watch FC Cincinnati become such a big part of the Cincinnati sports landscape last year,” commented Egger. “I'm honored and excited to get a chance to work closely with a team that I've become such a big fan of.”
Egger will co-host the club’s radio show, along with Tommy Gelehrter, who will return to lend his soccer knowledge as the team’s play-by-play announcer. The show debuted last year and will resume its bi-monthly slot from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. For the second consecutive year, the radio show will be broadcast from Moerlein Lager House, the Official Home of the program, located at 115 Joe Nuxhall Way.
The Toyota FC Cincinnati Fan Show has been rebranded and altered its format to include increased fan engagement. In addition to trivia contests, prizes, such as FCC gear and tickets, will be given to lucky fans in attendance and select players will be on-hand to mingle and sign autographs. Moerlein Lager House will offer food and drink specials and beginning Apr. 12, will have select FCC merchandise available for purchase.
Head coach Alan Koch will be featured on the show and FCC President and General Manager, Jeff Berding will appear as a special guest. Fans will have the opportunity to direct their questions to Egger and the guests.
Egger will continue hosting the afternoon show on ESPN1530 as well as maintain his programs on 700 WLW. A contributor to the Reds and Bengals network programming, Egger’s voice can also be heard on football and basketball broadcasts and can be heard nationally on ESPN Radio.
